Join Lesley and Sandee as they take you through a journey of making your own Traditional Cree Drum Making Ceremony.

This will be a day and a half process with an optional third day to embrace the Native American Healing Energies.

The ceremony will commence on the Friday Evening at 6:30pm till 8:30pm

Comfortable clothing

We will begin in ceremony and with a special traditional meditation to ground you and call in the Healing Spirits, known as the Grandmothers. You will then choose your skins, bless them, and cut out the circle and  binding stripes (also called strapping). This is then soaked in cold water, with healing crystals, shells and special stones. You can take your skins home and soak them (in a bathtub or large laundry sink) until Sunday. This will give you a chance to connect with them or you may opt to leave them on Goddess Love premises.

Sandee will do a crystal clearing and balance your chakras and then Lesley will connect with your Native American Healing Guide for a message and art drawing. Most of you have had a drawing from Lesley this will be a special connection from the Cree American Guides and Grandmothers.

Sunday commences at 9:00am till 4:00pm this will depend on how long we take to complete the process.

Once again we start off with a blessing, and smudging of ourselves and of our materials. Then Lesley will explain the process, which will include making the holes in the skin, and then lacing it up in the traditional Medicine Wheel design. You will work together in pairs to assist one another, and Lesley and Sandee will support you in every stage. Each step will be blessed as we connect with your drum.

(Please note this is a Traditional Drum making from scratch – Drum only) We do no shortcuts

The Skin we will be using is naturally processed Kangaroo Skin.

There will be a few items that you will need to bring along with you. These items will be emailed advised once booked.
